My favorite dish is kizaka as known in Angola or Pondu as know in the Congo region.
It’s widely eaten in Africa and also known as SakaSaka or Cassava leaf stew. Made with red palm oil & mixture of vegetables (and fish) it is my absolute favorite dish! So good that mom always makes sure to cook it when I visit.
I was craving it so much this past few weeks that I decided to make it myself & with some tips from mom & it was coming home 🙂
If you ever get the chance, definitely have some !!
It’s been a while, but LuLu is back. Last couple of weeks/months have been extremely busy with being back on the PhD grind full time. Academic year starting means a lot of deadlines, a lot of reading and a lot of stress. Thankfully I had booked a birthday getaway and it was more than worth it!
My June trip, well end of June, was to Malta. Never been, Didn’t really know what to expect, so it was that more exciting.
Getting from the airport to your hotel/apartment usually sets the tone for how your holiday will start. And I have to say that this time around the transport was extremely well organized. I booked my transport the day before from Holiday Taxis, and the shuttle transfer to my accommodation was there, everything was confirmed, and even though my flight was delayed, it went smoothly after that. For less than £7,- I got a door to door return. Perfect right?
