Outfit Of The Day: Business to Casual 

I’m planning to post more fashion and beauty related content, but I am still working on issues with time, someone to take pictures, collecting details etc., but oh well, it’s a work in progress 😉

Today’s OOTD is an outfit that I put together to offer a good transition from work to let’s say business drinks. I’m attending Chatam House’s (Royal Institute of International Affairs) summer reception and wanted something on point, but not over the top.

Afropunk: Got You Feeling Like Black Is The Thing To Be

This past weekend, my girl Janelle and I attended the amazingness that was Afropunk Paris! I have followed Afropunk on social media for some time, but had never attend the festival before, and apparently I’ve been missing out!

Two days of black excellence and the best vibes. The amount of sheer joy you saw walking around was absolutely powerful. There was a lot of Black Boy Joy and Black Girl Magic present and everyone was just hypnotized with all the beauty present. From food, art, jewelry, clothing and natural products, to living art, music, dance and impeccable authentic styles. Pudim de leite condensado


Growing up Pudim de leite moça (as we called it then, named after the brand of condensed milk) was one of my favorite desserts and now I make it quite often myself. This dessert can be found at almost every Angolan party/special occasion.
You can find many different variations througout the Lusophone  countries, South-America and the Caribbean.  It is also quite similar to flan.

Today me, tomorrow you. Malta

My June trip, well end of June, was to Malta. Never been, Didn’t really know what to expect, so it was that more exciting.

Getting from the airport to your hotel/apartment usually sets the tone for how your holiday will start. And I have to say that this time around the transport was extremely well organized. I booked my transport the day before from Holiday Taxis, and the shuttle transfer to my accommodation was there, everything was confirmed, and even though my flight was delayed, it went smoothly after that. For less than £7,- I got a door to door return. Perfect right?
